However, I was determined to make the most of the opportunities available here and pursued my education and career with great dedication.
Ben Williams: What motivated you to dedicate yourself to supporting the immigrant community in Los Angeles?
Michael Shvartsman: My own experiences as an immigrant greatly influenced my decision to support the immigrant community in Los Angeles. I understand the struggles and obstacles that immigrants face because I have lived through them myself. There is a strong desire within me to give back and help others navigate the same challenges. Los Angeles is a vibrant city with a diverse immigrant population, and I saw a great need for support in areas such as education, employment, and social integration.
Ben Williams: Can you share some of the initiatives you have been involved in to support immigrants in LA?
Michael Shvartsman: One of the key initiatives I’ve been involved in is partnering with local organizations to provide educational resources and language training for immigrants. We also work on job placement programs, helping immigrants find employment that matches their skills and qualifications.
